Neo Gladiator Collection by Bianco Mimosa at Malaysia Fashion Week 2016

Founded in year 2013, Bianco Mimosa has presented its first collection during a glittering event attended by prestigious fashion houses including LV, Versace and Roberto Cavalli.

The name of Bianco Mimosa is originated from Italian language. Bianco means white whereby Mimosa is a type of local plant, which is also known as ‘touch-me-not’, it symbolize the ready to wear collection. It has then continued to create a line of clothing embodying impeccable designs and premium quality, from formal elegant pieces to laid-back casuals.

It was my great pleasure to be invited to attend the Peniagawati Runway 2016 during Malaysia Fashion Week 2016, which was held at MATRADE from 2^nd to 5^th November 2016.

It has marked my first visit to an international trade fashion week too.

This year, Bianco Mimosa is introducing the ‘Neo Gladiator’ collection which was inspired by the glorious Rome Empire and culture.

It showcases its expertise in fabrication, detailing and silhouette where most of the fabric used is originally made in-house to ensure that the creations of Bianco Mimosa are different from other brands.

Fabrics such as cashmere, leather, satin silk and raw silk are complemented with chunky beads to make the collection unique.

Dato Ida Suraya, the founder and fashion designer of Bianco Mimosa said,”Peniagawati Runway @ Malaysia Fashion Week 2016 is a program to promote 6 brands in fashion industry. We are proud to be part of it by showcasing our great designs.”

Among the 10 exquisite pieces showcased were both short and long dresses, jumpsuits, jackets and tops. Neo Gladiator collection is filled with sophisticated sequins and Swarovski crystals, masterfully mixed prints and bold colors.

Best of all, these clothes are not only eye-catching, but they are also desirable and wearable. Dato Ida Suraya has also put her spin on a full range of accessories, a must for any label looking to capture a larger market.
